Lyric Video

A lyric video project created for the song “Cave In” by I The Mighty, focused on dynamic typography and visual rhythm to enhance the emotional impact of the track. This piece explores motion based text animation, syncing lyrics with pacing, emphasis, and mood to translate the song into a visual experience. Alongside animated typography, carefully selected supporting visuals were used to reinforce tone and atmosphere, helping build a cohesive narrative flow. The project was driven by experimentation and creative exploration. Particularly in developing animation techniques and refining timing and composition. Working with both stock and original visual elements allowed for intentional scene building that supports the music’s energy and meaning. Overall, this lyric video reflects a hands on approach to music visualization, combining design, timing, and storytelling into a unified audiovisual experience. I love getting videos physical timing to match with the beat of songs.
